Reminder - MEDIA ADVISORY: High School Career Counselors and Students Get Ready for Take-Off

VAN NUYS, CA--(Marketwire - February 28, 2008) -

WHAT: More than 60 career counselors from over 35 area middle and high
schools will attend a free half-day forum aimed at enabling
students interested in aviation and aerospace careers to let
their dreams take flight. Sponsored by Van Nuys Airport and the
Economic Alliance of the San Fernando Valley, Flight Path to the
Future will provide counselors and other educators tools and
resources to guide students interested in both professional and
career technical occupations through panel discussions, keynote
          speakers and exhibits.

The same day, more than 20 San Fernando High School students will
"shadow" adult mentors who work at Van Nuys Airport in various
professional and trade occupations, from aircraft management and
sales to airfield operations and maintenance. The counselors and
students will come together at lunch to share their experiences.

Excellent opportunity for visuals of students participating in
hands-on work activities and to interview school counselors,
