JetBlue Airways welcomes the inaugural flight from New York to LAX at a press conference in celebration of new twice daily service to both New York and Boston (i.e., four daily flights). The airline will also announce a special "Let the Music Play" campaign with long-standing partner, the VH1 Save The Music Foundation, mobilizing people all over the country to make a donation to support music education in Los Angeles' public schools at JetBlue pledges to match up to $30,000 and today also launches an online auction to benefit the Foundation with leading global auction site
