Nick Le Pan will provide perspective on why financial institutions, regulators and enforcement bodies in Canada need to be on top of AML / ATF issues. He will speak to the current situation and progress made to date in Canada on these issues. Mr. Le Pan will also discuss what institutions need to do to enhance their work on the implementation of sound AML / ATF policies and procedures.

There will be a media availability with Mr. Le Pan in the Ontario Room immediately following his speech.

As Superintendent of Financial Institutions, Nick Le Pan is responsible for the regulation and supervision of some 450 federal financial institutions and almost 1,200 federal pension plans.
