Reilly, M.D., Director of Boss Arthritis Institute in Odessa will be the physician performing this relatively new procedure.

Dr. Reilly has performed more than 400 minimal incision total Knee Replacements at Alliance Hospital. The potential benefits of a Minimal Incision Total Knee Replacement procedure are smaller incisions, faster recovery, less soft tissue trauma, shorter hospital stay, less pain after surgery and little or no effect on long term outcomes. With the Minimal Incision techniques that are performed patients are more likely to ambulate on the day of the surgery.

Dr. Reilly received a B.S. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana and his medical degree from Georgetown University School of medicine, where he graduated Cum Laude. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Reilly is currently in group practice with Basin Orthopedic Surgical Specialists sub-specializing in total joint replacement. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and is a Fellow of American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
