KINGSTON, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - April 5, 2016) - Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise motorists and pedestrians of an upcoming closure affecting vehicular and pedestrian traffic on the LaSalle Causeway.
The closure is required to maintain the bascule bridge. Work will take place on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m.
During this time, vehicles will not be allowed to cross the bridge. Work will cease periodically to allow pedestrian traffic to cross. PSPC and the City of Kingston are working together to ensure timely access for emergency vehicles.
