Reminder: Spring 2007 Motor Home & Trailer Show

The biggest RV show of its kind in North America opens tomorrow at the International Center, Mississauga

Attention: Automotive Editor, Lifestyle Editor, News Editor, Travel/Tourism Editor, Transportation Editor TORONTO, ONTARIO, MEDIA ADVISORY--(CCNMatthews - March 2, 2007) - The hot topic in the recreation vehicle industry this year is the Cottage RV. This could be any recreation vehicle - say, a fifth-wheel or a large self-propelled motor home - because a cottage RV is just another member of the family of RV's that includes folding trailers and campers, fifth-wheels, slide-ins, and self-propelled motor homes. They can all be an affordable alternative to a cottage. The Cottage RV, however, most often refers to a park model trailer that is usually set up in an RV resort. It's not as portable as a towable trailer, but it can still be moved whenever necessary - to change the view or to get away from annoying neighbours. Many RV resorts are located on lakes and offer a marina, a golf course, tennis courts, or horseback riding. Cottage comforts? The owner decides exactly what he/she needs because everything their house has, their Cottage RV can have - year-round. It can be a summer cottage in the Muskokas, a ski chalet in the Halliburtons, or a winter getaway in Florida or Arizona. Other Cottage RV options include a travel trailer or a fifth-wheel; there are also lots of those at the show. Whoever said "you can't take it with you" never looked into the benefits of a Cottage RV!

Many people who have started to investigate the benefits of owning a recreation vehicle, and who may actually be close to purchasing, usually ask one very important question: where do you keep an RV when it's not being used? What about people who live in a condo or an apartment and don't have a place to park it. The answer to that problem can be found only at this RV show - the Motor Home & Trailer Show in Booth B-50. Learn about RV parking for everyone with spacious paved spots and 24-hour video security. It's ideal for condo owners, apartment dwellers, and suburbanites with restrictive by-laws. They just leave their car parked in the space where their RV was parked - safe and secure - and take off on adventure!

Show dates/hours are: Wednesday, February 28 (10am-7pm), Thursday, March 1 (10am-7pm), Friday, March 2 (10am-8pm), Saturday, March 3 (10am-7pm), Sunday, March 4 (10am 6pm).

This show has been held continuously for over 35 years at the giant International Centre on Airport Rd, at Derry Rd. in Mississauga, Ontario. Parking at the venue is always free and there are over 6,000 spots available. All of the show details, including admission costs, public transportation info, product/exhibitor listings, and general RV information can be found at the show website www.motorhomeandtrailershow.com. /For further information: Show information at www.motorhomeandtrailershow.com/ IN: AUTOMOTIVE, ENTERTAINMENT, INTERNATIONAL, TRANSPORT, TRAVEL
