REMINDER/The Governor of the Bank of Canada Speaks to the Toronto CFA Society

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 22, 2005) - On Thursday, 22 September 2005, the Governor of the Bank of Canada, David Dodge, will speak to the Toronto Chartered Financial Analysts Society.

Topic: Financial System Efficiency: Getting the Regulatory
Framework Right

Time: 12:50 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time)

Lock-up: At 11:35 a.m. (Eastern Daylight Time), copies of the
speech will be available to journalists, under embargo.
The lock-up will be held at the Bank's head office in
Ottawa. The embargo will be lifted at 12:35 p.m.
(Eastern Daylight Time), 15 minutes before the
scheduled beginning of the speech. (Please use the East
Tower entrance at 245 Sparks Street and have your press
card with you.)
