Remote Knowledge Signs Pilot Program With Wal-Mart FLW Outdoors

HOUSTON, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 5, 2005 -- Remote Knowledge, Inc., (OTC BB: RKNW) a Houston-based provider of remote communications and telematics solutions, announced today it has entered into a pilot program with the Wal-Mart FLW Tour produced by FLW Outdoors, the purveyor of America's largest and most prestigious fishing tournaments.

Under the program, Remote Knowledge will install the rk3000 marine telematics solution on sponsorship boats to be used by professional anglers during the Wal-Mart FLW Tour events running through July 2005. The program commences during the Wal-Mart FLW Tour stop at Wheeler Lake in Decatur, Ala., May 11-14. The rk3000 will continuously track and monitor the sponsored Ranger boats, as well as assist FLW Outdoors officials in monitoring the safety and security of each vessel. During the program period, both real-time and historical information will be viewable by FLW Outdoor operations via the Internet. In addition, the rk3000 will provide two-way text messaging services between anglers and the FLW Outdoors operations center, providing enhanced information exchange for future television, sponsorship and FLW Outdoors member services. The initiative comes as a result of the joint efforts of Sprint and Remote Knowledge, which have aligned to provide value-added telemetry services and location-based information enhancements to FLW Outdoors.

The rk3000 marine telematics solution utilizes a combination of Sprint, Iridium and GPS technologies to provide seamless coverage worldwide. The system is designed with an industry standard interface that allows other monitoring equipment (such as, but not limited to, engine diagnostics, intrusion detection, onboard system controls and temperature sensors) to interface with the rk3000. This functionality allows the OEM or secondary vendor to enhance the value of its products by using the telemetry features of the rk3000 to transmit critical information about a mechanical system's functions and properties to Knowledge Central, Remote Knowledge's secure database, or its own contact and response center. An operator interface terminal is included, which permits the operator to determine which functions are armed or disarmed, as well as receive and send email in the form of short text messages containing up to 60 alphanumeric characters.
