Remote Surveillance Technologies to Provide CCTV Design and Consultation for the Central Union High School District of El Centro, California

IRVINE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 18, 2007 -- Remote Surveillance Technologies, Inc. ("RST or the "Company") (, which trades under the symbol (PINKSHEETS: RSUR), is pleased to announce being named the design and consultation group responsible for the implementation of Central Union High School Districts' (CUHSD) CCTV solution. The district-wide solution features new IP based video technology; the district has budgeted $250,000 for the project.

The CCTV system will enable CUHSD to have unprecedented security integration, combining state-of-the-art Ortega video management software with IP based mega-pixel camera technology. The integrated system will provide an in-depth security analysis, at any time, across the entire footprint of the district. Furthermore, CUHSD administrators will now have complete flexibility concerning how the system will be monitored, and from where security information may be accessed.

Dr. Laurence Harper, President and CEO of RST in describing this agreement stated: "The public schools have aggressively been moving toward using video technology as a better way to address a myriad of issues. The safety of students and teachers is of paramount concern. Additionally, the protection of school property, including the prevention of vandalism, are considered imperatives. RST is proud to offer its knowledge of effective, cutting-edge security technologies to assist schools and campuses in providing a safe environment in which our children can learn."
