RemoteMDx Supplements Earlier Press Release

SANDY, UT -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 12, 2007 -- SecureAlert, a subsidiary of RemoteMDx, Inc. (OTCBB: RMDX) and a leader in pioneering technologies and services to aid in monitoring offenders who are a risk to society, today supplements its earlier press release dated April 3, 2007 regarding its revolutionary TrackerPAL product and service that is the only device to meet the federal guidelines for law enforcement and parole officers that gives them the ability to institute real-time monitoring of convicted sexual offenders.

As reported in the earlier release, the Company had stated that it is the only single-unit GPS/GSM enabled device on the market. A point of clarification, to the best of the Company's knowledge, the TrackerPAL is the only single-unit device in the market that incorporates GPS/GSM, an 80 decibel alarm, and two-way voice communication to, and controlled by, a live 24/7 monitoring center.

Additionally, the TrackerPAL, to the best of the Company's knowledge, is the only technology that meets the minimum standards as defined within the federal bill H.R. 4472, better known as the "Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006."

SecureAlert offers a unique combination of a 24/7 monitoring center, coupled with proprietary technology that locates offenders wherever they may be and tracks and responds to violations of pre-determined geo-zones, two- and three-way voice communication and application-specific software, all packaged in one compact tamper and water resistant device with an 80 decibel alarm worn by the offender. The alarm can be activated by the monitoring center in the event a law enforcement officer is not immediately available. SecureAlert's products and services potentially save the criminal justice system millions of dollars while providing peace-of-mind to communities.

With the number of convicted sex offenders in the United States rising every year, law enforcement agencies across the nation are constantly searching for a new technology like TrackerPAL to fully monitor and deter repeat offenders. According to the 2006 Megan's Law Report Card, there were 558,824 registered sex offenders in the United States in 2006 with the numbers continuing to grow.
