Renaissance Arlington Capital View Sees Gold in LEED(R) Eco-Design

Property Is One of Three LEED(R) Gold Certified Hotels in Virginia & One of 40 in the United States


ARLINGTON, VA--(Marketwire - Apr 6, 2012) - The Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel announced today that it has been awarded a Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) and verified by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI). LEED® is the nation's preeminent program for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. Renaissance Arlington Capital View opened in March 2011 and will be celebrating its one year anniversary. Since its inception, the hotel in downtown Arlington has always been designed to be LEED® certified. The hotel's LEED® Gold certification is shared with the adjoining property, Residence Inn Arlington Capital View.
