Renaissance Capital, Troika Dialog Share Top Honors in Institutional Investor Ranking of Russia's Best Analysts

VTB Capital, Credit Suisse Make Strong Advances in Annual Survey

MOSCOW--(Marketwire - June 11, 2010) - Russia's top research analysts gathered at the Renaissance Moscow Monarch Centre Hotel Thursday evening to find out who would be named to the 2010 All-Russia Research Team, Institutional Investor's seventh annual ranking of the country's best equity and fixed-income analysts as determined by the world's leading money managers.

The gala reception, which was hosted by the Russian Trading System Exchange, ended with a surprise: Two of Russia's most prominent firms, Renaissance Capital and Troika Dialog, tied for first place. Each firm saw 13 of its analysts tapped for the team.

For RenCap, the event marks a seventh consecutive first-place finish. Troika is celebrating its first appearance in the winner's circle, having spent the past two years in second place.

Deutsche Bank, with seven analysts on the team, holds steady in third.

VTB Capital jumps from No. 7 last year to No. 4 this year after tripling its number of positions, to six. The year's biggest mover is Credit Suisse, which soars from ninth place to fifth; the Swiss bank claims three positions.
