Chef Benjamin Hamlin Now Leads the Culinary Team for the Hotel and Norah's Restaurant

ST. LOUIS, MO--(Marketwired - May 26, 2015) - Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel is pleased to announce the appointment of Benjamin Hamlin as Executive Chef of Norah's Crafted Food & Spirits and Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel. As a multi-award-winning chef, his culinary achievements will bring a new dimension to the hotel's signature restaurant, banquet and catering facilities. One of Chef Hamlin's key responsibilities is supporting Renaissance's AAA Four-Diamond status for the 6th year in a row.

Hamlin is a Local Chef with 18 years of professional Hotel, Restaurant, and Catering experience in the Saint Louis Area. Formally trained in Culinary Arts at Forest Park, Hamlin brings a fine dining background in Traditional French Cuisine to the hotel. Prior to joining the Renaissance team Hamlin owned and operated his own catering company, Fleur-De-Lis Catering, for 5 years.

Norah's also has new menus under Chef Hamlin's lead. "A lot of my food is influenced by these [French] techniques, using seasonal ingredients, adapting classic recipes to modern cuisine, and a simpler is better approach to some foods. You don't always have to reinvent the wheel to serve great food."
