It also focuses on project buildout for FIT 1.0, financing solutions and building partnerships with communities, aboriginal groups and municipalities.

Now in its 5th year, the Ontario FIT and Renewable Energy Forum has seen remarkable year-on-year growth and is now established as the annual spring event for the renewables industry. More than 500 attendees from across North America and Europe are expected to attend this year. Key decision-makers from all technologies will gather to understand project opportunities, gain clarity on the LRP and FIT program, and do business. Sponsors of this year's Forum include Siemens, KPMG, Hatch, Heliene Canada, REPower Systems, Schneider Electric, and LCAB.

After six months of intensive primary research, this year's agenda reflects the topics industry has outlined as critical to their success in Ontario. Over 130 leading speakers will address the most business-critical issues for renewable energy developers, suppliers and investors involved in the Ontario renewable energy market. Among those speaking are the CEOs, Presidents and Senior Representatives of leading organizations including TransAlta, Algonquin Power, MUFG, Recurrent Energy, Longyuan Canada, Enbridge, Renewables, Suncor, Potentia Solar, AMP Solar Group, Fiera Axium Infrastructure Inc., and NORD/LB.

This year's Forum includes a full day dedicated to financing solutions for FIT projects at various stages and sizes. The FIT Finance Forum takes place on March 19th at the Hilton Toronto and will bring together the most active debt and equity investors in FIT to discuss the opportunities and challenges for financing these projects. The Forum also offers strategic networking sessions with municipalities, communities, building owners, and aboriginal groups to connect with developers and discuss partnering opportunities for renewables projects in Ontario.
