Renewable Energy and Power, Inc. Opens Discussions With a Major University to License Patents for Tandem Solar Cell Technology Which May Double Solar Cell Power Output

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - Dec 1, 2015) -  Renewable Energy and Power, Inc. (OTCBB: RBNW), a diversified corporation with markets in energy-saving technologies of both solar energy and LED lighting, is pleased to announce that the Company has opened discussions with a major university to work with its Renewable Energy department to commercialize Tandem Solar Cell technology and to license several of their patents on Perovskite and thin film solar cells.

"The Company plans to make use of patents, technology and equipment to enhance the current solar cell design with an eventual goal of achieving 30% efficiency in conversion of sunlight to electrical energy, which will double the output of most roof-mounted solar systems," said CEO Donald MacIntyre. "We believe this technology will provide the home end-user with a solar system capable of powering a home to be independent of the power grid system and far superior to any currently being employed."
