Renowned Author Nicholas Carr to Keynote BroadSoft Connections 2009 Conference

GAITHERSBURG, MD--(Marketwire - June 18, 2009) - BroadSoft, Inc., the worldwide leader in VoIP applications, announced today that Nicholas Carr, author of "The Big Switch: Rewiring the World, from Edison to Google," will keynote its seventh annual executive users' conference, BroadSoft Connections 2009: Voice & Vision, which will be held from October 25-28 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

BroadSoft Connections 2009: Voice & Vision conference will showcase the latest innovation in communication services, designed to help telecommunications service providers differentiate and expand their service offerings. This year's attendees will learn the latest productivity features of Unified Communications, including the benefits of visual communications through video; discover the newest, next-generation services for residential customers; and experience the innovative communication applications developed through BroadSoft® Xtended.

BroadSoft's annual users' conference brings together senior executives from the most recognized telecommunications service providers and leading brands in communication technology. Nicholas Carr is widely known for his expertise on cloud computing and how it is changing the way the enterprise approaches IT infrastructure and computing resources. Carr's keynote will be held from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., on Monday, October 26.
