Rep. Hultgren Visits NACD Member Producers Chemical Company

ARLINGTON, VA--(Marketwired - October 16, 2014) - Today, Producers Chemical Company welcomed Rep. Randy Hultgren (R-Ill.) back to their Sugar Grove, Ill. facility to show him the value and safety of chemical distribution companies that participate in programs like Responsible Distribution®, the National Association of Chemical Distributors' (NACD) mandatory third-party verification environmental, health, safety, and security program. Producers Chemical is a member in good standing of the association.

"It was an honor to have Congressman Hultgren back at our facility today, three years after his first visit," said company president and owner Roger Harris. "Our policymakers should have the opportunity to see our business firsthand and learn the local and national economic value of the chemical distribution industry. Federal regulations and policies affect our business daily. We hope to put more people back to work, and we need a business-friendly environment to do that."

"I thoroughly enjoyed meeting with Producers Chemical leadership and staff as well as learning about their efforts to keep the surrounding community safe through Responsible Distribution," said Rep. Hultgren, who sits on the House Committee on Financial Services and the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology. "I will continue to work in Congress to establish commonsense policies that create a safe, secure, and thriving environment for our businesses and our communities here in Illinois."
