Former NHL® Alumnus Kirk McLean to Visit South Delta Minor Hockey Event as Part of Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada Celebrations

DELTA, BC--(Marketwired - February 13, 2015) - As part of Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada's cross-country celebration, NHL® Alumnus and former Vancouver Canuck great, Kirk McLean, will be in South Delta, BC appearing at a local hockey event, leading skills and drills with South Delta minor hockey teams, signing autographs and posing for photos. Scotiabank is pleased to invite the community to come out and celebrate community hockey at this free event at the Ladner Leisure Centre on February 14, 2015. Benefits of the event will be donated to non-profit organizations such as Delta Kidsport, Special Olympics BC and the South Delta Minor Hockey Association.

The event will be featured live during Rogers 13 hour broadcast of Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada.

WHAT: As part of Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada, Scotiabank invites the community of Delta to celebrate Canada's favourite sport.
