RepeatSeat Announces Record Online and Mobile Movie Ticket Sales for Month of May

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - June 17, 2008) - RepeatSeat (TSX VENTURE:RPS) is pleased to announce that on-line and mobile movie ticketing sales for the month of May by venues using RepeatSeat ticketing technology broke the company's previous monthly sales records. Bob Christianson, RepeatSeat President and COO noted "Sales in May reflected a 67% increase compared with the same month last year and 16% increase over our all time record month for the sales of on-line movie tickets whereas mobile movie tickets experienced a 53% transaction increase over the same period."

Mr. Christianson attributes these sales "to a great slate of movies as well as to the removal of a $1.00 surcharge for online tickets that has historically been added to the online moviegoer's ticket fee. Historically, the majority of on-line sales would be to ensure you receive your ticket for the opening weekend of the movie blockbuster, whereas in May we saw online sales for over 70 movie selections. This is a strong indicator of the acceptance of on-line and mobile ticketing as a simple, easy to use and more effective way to purchase your movie ticket. We expect to see the on-line and mobile purchasing numbers continue to increase over a summer that offers an exceptional slate of movie alternatives."

RepeatSeat recognizes that mobile phones and wireless devices are now integral in providing entertainment options to mobile users and has developed a proprietary mCommerce Solution to capitalize on this trend. A recent report by media observer Juniper Research, estimates that 208 million users will have purchased more than 2.6 billion mobile tickets via their cellular phones by 2011. RepeatSeat provides the technology and in many cases the entertainment content for the user. It is truly unique in being able to provide entertainment options and the technology to facilitate the purchase of these options via the mobile phones and other wireless devices in a mCommerce Solution. As commercial acceptance of the technology grows it will facilitate the continued growth in the sale of more tickets as well as attracting new venues looking for RepeatSeat's leading interactive ticketing and data solutions.
