Research Now to Feature Experian Marketing Services' Mosaic® USA Consumer Lifestyle Segmentation

Integration Allows Mosaic Users to Easily Bridge Their Marketing Segmentation With Market Research Analysis

PLANO, TX--(Marketwire - Jun 1, 2012) - Research Now, the leading global online sampling and data collection company, has further allied with Experian Marketing Services to overlay its U.S. research panels with Experian Mosaic® USA consumer lifestyle segmentation.

Recently updated to reflect today's dramatically evolving and digitally engaged American consumer, Mosaic USA is based on: analysis of the latest trends in American society; a wealth of high quality, comprehensive data sources; and a sophisticated proprietary approach to cluster analysis. The integration enables Research Now to code its research panels using Mosaic's system, which classifies all U.S. households and neighborhoods into 71 unique segments and 19 overarching groups, to provide greater targeting capabilities and deliver more granular information about survey respondents.

"As marketing to consumers becomes more refined, the type of information needed from researchers is becoming more diverse," commented Craig Stevens, chief revenue officer, Americas for Research Now. "For this reason, we are excited about the integration of Mosaic USA lifestyle segmentation, as it enables us to deliver enhanced sampling and offers our clients the opportunity to collect more in-depth and descriptive data."

The new Mosaic system is the first segmentation tool built in the U.S. market in the past five to 10 years and reflects critical new data presented in the 2010 census. Following a successful launch in the U.K., Australia and New Zealand, Research Now has integrated both the old and new Mosaic classification systems into its U.S. panels to serve legacy Mosaic users who have not yet adopted the new system.

"Combining our most advanced consumer lifestyle segmentation system with Research Now's robust online research panels will enable efficiencies in targeting survey respondents for companies that utilize Mosaic for market segmentation. The powerful insights gained through integrating market research programs with the key findings of customer analytics processes will help to improve the performance of our clients' marketing programs significantly," said Rick Erwin, president, Data and Analytics Division at Experian Marketing Services.

Working in partnership with Experian Marketing Services, Research Now has integrated Mosaic's geo-demographic segmentation on 23 of its panels across the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific, enabling multi-country analysis.
