BALTIMORE, MD--(Marketwire - Nov 10, 2011) - The stylish urban character of one of Maryland's favored downtown Baltimore restaurants has been rendered for film shots in Veep, the new HBO television comedy series set to air in 2012.
After filming the pilot episode for the series in March of 2011 in both Baltimore and Washington, D.C., filming began again in October for the new political satire, which stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Crews made their way into the city after striking a production package with the state of Maryland to keep much of the filming inside the state. The new comedy series is set near the White House and Louis-Dreyfus plays former Senator Selina Meyer, who finds being vice president isn't at all as she expected; but instead is everything people had warned her about.
