Residence Inn Chattanooga Near Hamilton Place Goes the Extra Mile in Support of Local Children's Hospital

CHATTANOOGA, TN--(Marketwired - Sep 11, 2013) - Stepping out to go the extra mile in support of the Children's Miracle Network, a prominent hotel near Hamilton Place in Chattanooga, TN will welcome Torch Relay Team members to the city for this year's annual fund-raising event.

And, while the Torch Relay represents only one of the many fund-raising events to benefit CMNH, it enables communities the opportunity to support local hospitals while impacting the entire Children's Miracle Network program. Over the past three decades funds raised through Children's Miracle Network have been used to benefit research and training, purchase equipment and pay for uncompensated care, all in an effort to support the CMNH mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

As part of this strong dedication to community service, the Residence Inn by Marriott will proudly greet the Relay Team with three complimentary Chattanooga suites when they make their way to the area for the October 21, 2013 Torch Relay. A unique, multi-day event, the Torch Relay for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals is held at locations throughout the country allowing local organizations and individuals the opportunity to raise funds that directly benefit their local facilities. Each segment of the Torch Relay is supported by a team of trained volunteers who travel with the event to help ensure the success of local volunteers as participants gather to walk, run or bike miles for miracles.
