Resiligence Launches First Community Input and Social Media Based Emergency Response Product, EONNow

EONNow Is an Emergency Response System Which Aggregates Information via Texting and Social Media Sources, Analyzes the Data and Presents It in a Dashboard View to Appropriate 1st Responders/EOC Staff

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - September 16, 2010) - Resiligence, Inc. launches EONNow, the latest innovation in emergency response at the 2010 California Emergency Services Association Conference. The product fills the gap that currently exists for Emergency Operations Centers in cities, counties, states and private organizations by quickly aggregating into one platform near real-time information from crowdsourcing, social media and online media sources. In so doing, EONNow helps prioritize the allocation of manpower and resources in emergencies, improving response efforts and optimizing resource utilization. 

EONNow facilitates the reporting of emergency-related incidents via text, voice, or email to an entity's designated authorities -- such as 1st responders and Emergency Operations Center personnel. The product centralizes information gathering in emergency situations stemming from earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, fires, disease outbreaks, active shooters and terrorist activities. This aggregation enables designated response personnel to quickly categorize and prioritize the information received resulting in quick, actionable emergency response. It is anticipated that the use of EONNow will also likely help to unclog heavily-used 911 lines during emergency situations. EONNow also allows for two-way communication with the person providing the emergency notification, thereby possibly helping those who are in danger to find safe haven.
