STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, CO--(Marketwire - Jun 21, 2011) - ResortQuest® by Wyndham Vacation Rentals will welcome world-class musicians to Colorado during the Strings Music Festival for eight weeks this summer in the beautiful Rocky Mountain town of Steamboat Springs.

Now in its 24th season, the Strings Music Festival presents dozens of live performances by premier artists, including GRAMMY® award winners and nominees, winners of major musical competitions, international soloists, and principal players from some of the world's most renowned orchestras. While the festival schedule displays a distinct bend toward classical and chamber music, a diverse array of genres is represented, from bluegrass to jazz to world rhythms. The event will kick off on Friday, July 1 through Saturday, August 27, 2011, at the Strings Music Pavilion located at 950 Strings Rd., Steamboat Springs, Colo.

The Classical Music Series runs July 8 through August 13 and includes a free community matinee of "Bach to Broadway" on Sunday, July 17. Starting July 9 through August 5, the Different Tempo Series features artists such as country legend Marty Stuart and Grammy winner Shawn Colvin. The Youth and Family Concert Series delivers lively family-friendly entertainment each Tuesday from June 28 to August 9. Every Thursday starting July 7 through August 18 brings free Music on the Green performances to the Yampa River Botanic Park at 1000 Pamela Lane off Highway 40.
