Resorts of Ontario Announce 2015 Spring Conference & Trade Show Program

Resorts of Ontario ( ), an association representing more than 100 Ontario resorts, inns and lodges, announces the 2015 Resorts of Ontario Spring Conference &Trade Show program to be held April 27th and April 28th, 2015 at the Blue Mountain Resort in Blue Mountain, Ontario.

ORILLIA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - March 13, 2015) - Resorts of Ontario ( has unveiled its 2015 Annual Spring Conference & Trade Show program. Organizers have planned a full program that includes informative lectures and seminars, the Annual General Meeting, the Preferred Suppliers Trade Show, the Presidents Evening Dinner and much more. A high member turnout is anticipated at this year's conference that will take place on April 27th and 28th, 2015 at Blue Mountain Resort in Blue Mountain, Ontario.

The Conference and Trade Show also provides a great opportunity for members to socialize with fellow members and to network with others in the industry. After registration, coffee, and opening remarks, the conference program begins with a presentation by keynote speaker Andrew Wiens, International DMO Manager North America for TripAdvisor. In his talk, TripAdvisor: Online Reputation Management and What's Trending, Weins offers informative and practical advice on how hospitality businesses can best leverage TripAdvisor, and manage their digital reputation across the social network. Later in the morning, conference delegates may pick from several Concurrent Education Session, including Recruiting and Retaining Staff, Conserve Energy …Save Big Dollars!, Buy. Hold. Sell. Top Real Estate Tips for Resorts of Ontario Owners!, Are You Effectively Using Online Channels?, and Towards an Accessible. Ontario!

In the afternoon, following lunch and the AGM, rotating round table sessions begin. Discussions cover a variety of topics of interest to resort owners such as website optimization, wastewater and sewage issues, pest control, maximizing OTA relationship, and more. At 3:30 pm, the Resorts of Ontario Trade Show offers delegates the chance to see the hottest new products and services on display. Registered attendees can play to win two $500.00 cash prizes by collecting ten stamps from Participating exhibitors. The day closes with one of the Spring Conference highlights the President's Dinner and Reception

Following breakfast on the second day of the conference, the program continues with three back to back presentations. Stephen Roome, President of First Page SEO, offers insights into tracking and measuring the online health of a company's website.
