Resource Capital Corp. Announces Full Exercise of Option to Purchase Additional Shares of Common Stock


NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Apr 25, 2013) - Resource Capital Corp. (NYSE: RSO) (the "Company") announces the full exercise of the underwriters' option to purchase an additional 2,437,500 shares of common stock in connection with the Company's recently announced public offering, with closing to take place on April 29, 2013. Including the shares sold in connection with the underwriters' option, the Company will have sold a total of 18,687,500 shares of its common stock for total net proceeds of approximately $114.5 million after deduction of underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses. Deutsche Bank Securities and J.P. Morgan Securities acted as the joint book-running managers of the offering. The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes.
