Respected Pharma, Healthcare Industry Senior Executive Teresa Winslow Joins eSentire Board of Advisors

Winslow to Provide Valuable Guidance as eSentire Expands Its Footprint in the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Markets

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Apr 24, 2014) -  eSentire, Inc., the leader in Active Threat Protection solutions and managed security services, today announced Teresa Winslow has joined the company's board of advisors. For more than two decades, Winslow has built an outstanding reputation delivering IT solutions and services in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, and will guide eSentire's expansion into new markets. On the advisory board, Winslow will join recently retired CTO of the Central Intelligence Agency, Gus Hunt, and National Security Corporation President, G. Mark Hardy.

Winslow has been named "A Policy Maker" by Executive Women of New Jersey, selected as 'Alumnae of the Quarter' at the University of the Sciences, and was honored as one of 'Five Well-Placed Women' by the Eastern Technology Council.

"I am thrilled and delighted to join the advisory board at eSentire," Winslow said. "For too long, pharma and healthcare organizations have fallen prey to today's onslaught of advanced threats and attacks from increasingly sophisticated threat actors. I look forward to facilitating introductions and to demonstrating how eSentire can not just actively protect network assets, but dramatically reduce organizational risk exposure."

Commenting on Winslow's decision, eSentire CEO J. Paul Haynes: "Teresa brings an exceptional track record of success to the eSentire advisory board and we look forward to her expert counsel and guidance as we expand and grow our footprint," said eSentire CEO J. Paul Haynes. "Pharma and healthcare organizations continue to face frequent compromise of sensitive patient data, active intellectual property theft via industrial espionage, heavy government regulation and a continuous need to protect mission-critical assets on the network -- we look forward to being of service."

Winslow is the founder of The Winslow Group, where she focuses on working with venture and private equity firms in the fast-growing Healthcare IT and Life Sciences sectors, and actively coaches entrepreneurs and management teams in the areas of general management, business development and operations/delivery.

Having earned her pharmacy degree from the University of the Sciences at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, she began her career in pharma at Eli Lilly and Company before transitioning to Key Pharmaceuticals (acquired by Schering Plough).

Winslow joined Dendrite, a pioneer in the development of software applications for pharmaceutical sales force management. After seven years and five promotions, she rose to the position of President, Dendrite Americas, where she was responsible for 1700 employees on two continents and for delivering product and services to top twenty Pharmas. Over her 12-year tenure, Winslow played a key role in the execution of a successful IPO, expanded the business to be global in nature, while Dendrite was ranked 44 among the 100 fastest growing companies in the United States by Fortune magazine.
