VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Aug. 3, 2012) - Response Biomedical Corp. (TSX:RBM)(OTCBB:RPBIF) will release its second quarter financial results for the period ending June 30, 2012 after markets close on Tuesday, August 7, 2012.

Jeffrey L. Purvin, Chief Executive Officer, will host a conference call on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 3.00 p.m. PDT (6:00 p.m. EDT) to discuss the financial results for the second quarter. Participating in the call will be Richard Canote, Chief Financial Officer.
