Windows Live Hotmail Empowers Consumers With Convenience, Flexibility and Control in Email Communications

SAN BRUNO, CA--(Marketwire - December 16, 2010) - Responsys, Inc., a leading provider of on-demand email and cross-channel marketing solutions, today announced that it is partnering with Windows Live Hotmail from Microsoft to deliver the new experiences and benefits of Active Views email messages to consumers. The new service provides Hotmail users the ability to have more engaging, rich experiences with their email messages, and to take actions more quickly and easily, within the email itself.

With this partnership, Responsys is delivering advanced email solutions -- and ensuring that consumers receive dynamic and up-to-date content in their inboxes, making online interactions easier and saving consumers valuable time.

It also protects consumers by giving them access to information on the sender's website through forms and inline actions built directly into the email itself, keeping content refreshed and providing a more engaging and time-saving experience. Responsys worked closely as an advisor to the Hotmail team, leveraging its deep email industry expertise to help design and guide the new platform and ensure an optimal user experience for its customers. Starting this week, Active Views will be available to select partners for the pilot program.
