Responsys Appoints Antonio Casacuberta as Chief Technology Officer

Former Oracle and Infospace Veteran to Lead Next Wave of Aggressive Technical Innovation and Expansion at Responsys

REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwire - November 28, 2007) - Responsys, a leading global provider of on-demand email and marketing automation solutions, today announced that Antonio Casacuberta has been appointed chief technology officer. Casacuberta, former CTO of Infospace, is responsible for driving Responsys' technical vision and leading the next wave of technical innovation and expansion at the company. He also assumes the day-to-day responsibility and management of Responsys' world-class development team, which he is planning to expand by 30 engineers over the next fiscal quarter.

Casacuberta brings 20 years of software development experience to the Responsys team. He most recently served as CTO of Infospace, which ranked 20th on Wired Magazine's 2006 list of the 40 most innovative companies on earth. While at Infospace, Casacuberta led the company's product software development, including the release of award winning search properties such as Dogpile, metacrawler, and, as well as industry-leading Mobile Search products. Prior to Infospace, Casacuberta spent a decade at Oracle in management positions where he planned, staffed and led innovative technology development and implementation projects, including Oracle Application Server and MPP products. Casacuberta, who began his career as a software engineer, holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Boston University.
