RetailMeNot.com Now Provides Shoppers Access to Printable In-Store Coupons

On the Heels of a Momentous 2007, RetailMeNot Expands to Include New Features in 2008

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA--(Marketwire - January 21, 2008) - RetailMeNot, the web's leading consumer destination for online coupons, discounts and promotional codes for merchandise, travel and services, today announced expanded features including support for printable, in-store coupons. Driven by the legions of savvy online shoppers who contribute to the site daily, RetailMeNot became the Internet's largest and most comprehensive online coupon resource in 2007. With new features designed to provide consumers with access to even more deals and discounts, RetailMeNot is poised to continue its rapid momentum in 2008.

Launched in late 2006, RetailMeNot has grown into a flagship property of Stateless Systems, the web development company founded by Guy King and Bevan Clark. Today, RetailMeNot boasts more than 50,000 discounts from more than 10,000 merchants, including Best Buy, Buy.com and NewEgg.com. Traffic to the site has increased exponentially over the past year, with nearly four million shoppers visiting the site during the month of December.

This month, RetailMeNot is introducing two new features that will expand on the site's mission to help consumers save money and enjoy a hassle-free discount shopping experience online. Building on RetailMeNot's success as a resource for online coupons, the site will now offer consumers the ability to share printable coupons for discounts that are available in-store. In keeping with the user-friendly nature of the site, shoppers will simply submit a link to the image of the coupon and RetailMeNot will enable other shoppers to print the coupon. The second new feature is the inclusion of "Tips" on each merchant page. Consumers can now swap shopping advice using this category.

In addition to RetailMeNot's success as a website, in 2007 the company received accolades for developing additional applications that offer consumers even more ways to save. In December, RetailMeNot released an application for iPhone, recognized as an Apple staff pick, that gives shoppers easy access to online coupon codes when shopping via iPhone. With this application, shoppers at the mall have the ability to compare in-store prices with online discounts. In October, RetailMeNot announced the release of a Firefox extension, selected by Lifehacker as a Featured Firefox Extension, which automatically alerts shoppers to deals as they are shopping online. RetailMeNot also released money-saving widgets for Mac Dashboard and iGoogle last year.

"2007 was an exciting year for RetailMeNot. We're proud of the success we've achieved and are grateful to our loyal and active user community for helping to fuel that success," said Guy King, co-founder of RetailMeNot. "Our goal for 2008 is to continue to develop new ways to help consumers take advantage of the best deals and discounts available. The inclusion of printable in-store coupons is a logical next step for the site."
