College Students Ready for the Real World

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 13, 2008) - This Thursday corporate communications students will be taking centre stage on the GO Train, travelling 230 km to deliver public speeches. Topics ranging from Fidel Castro to consumer culture will showcase this generation's diverse range of interests and knowledge.

The students will be meeting at Union Station, on the Concourse Level by Cinnabon at 10:30 a.m. to catch the GO Train departing at 10:43 a.m. They will be travelling from Union Station to Aldershot, then to Oshawa and back.

Seneca College's corporate communications students are strategic thinkers, ambitious, and loaded with fresh and interesting ideas. Why the GO Train? It's filled with absolute strangers and unpredictable moments - the perfect setting for students to practice the art of public speaking, while displaying the skills they've obtained from the program.
