Return on Change: Pioneering an Investment Revolution via Crowdfunding Site That Connects Startups With Investors

Targets Game-Changing and Society-Improving Technologies and Businesses; Entering Private Beta, Recruiting Startups via Funding Contest

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Apr 17, 2012) - Crowdfunding innovator Return on Change, LLC (RoC) announced its company launch today, along with early details about its website, which will provide a way for investors to connect with game-changing startups. The site is preparing to enter private beta, following the President's signing of crowdfunding-enabling legislation. This new law is expected to boost entrepreneurship, innovation, employment and the economy by making it easier for companies to offer shares to the public, and for people to invest in startups.

"The timing could not be better," said Sang Lee, founder of Return on Change. "We saw the huge potential in crowdfunding, and now, with the signing of the JOBS bill, look forward to connecting investors with ventures that can make a real difference."

RoC also announced a contest that provides incentives for startups to register. The first 100 startups that meet RoC's criteria will have the opportunity to win one of three $1,000 funding prizes. The company is seeking startups in the areas of clean energy, biomedical, social ventures and technology.

Return on Change was founded to transform the growth of entrepreneurship in the United States. As the founder of RoC, Sang always aspired to use the combination of his business / finance experience and passion for entrepreneurship to do something really unique. What began as an idea to help socially conscious ventures raise capital grew into the RoC platform, a business solution that will connect the everyday person to high impact startups looking for ways to improve the world.
