Reunion Gold Announces Stock Option Grant to New Director

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Nov. 3, 2011) - Reunion Gold Corporation (TSX VENTURE:RGD) (the "Company") announces that it has approved the grant of an option to acquire 250,000 common shares to its new board member, Réjean Gourde. Subject to regulatory approval, the incentive stock option will be exercisable at a price of $1.00 for a period of five years and will vest over a two-year period.

Réjean Gourde was elected director at the annual meeting of shareholders held on September 29, 2012. Mr. Gourde has a degree in mine engineering and more than 30 years of experience in with extensive experience in the mining industry. He has been successful in launching major projects in South America as Senior Vice President of Cambior Inc. from 1994 to 2007 and, more recently, in Africa, as a mining consultant.
