Reve Technologies Announces Launch of the Reminisce Mobile App

Reminisce Mobile App Brings Amazing Memories to Stagnant Lock Screens

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA--(Marketwired - October 07, 2014) - Rêve Technologies, Inc., f/k/a Bassline Productions, Inc., (OTCBB: BSSP) a technology company focused on investing in, developing and marketing emerging hardware, mobile and web applications, announces the launch of Reminisce, a mobile app that turns stagnant lock screens into photo rediscovery.

Reminisce grabs pictures from photo sources (e.g. Phone gallery, Facebook, Instagram, and/or Google Picasa) and displays a different photo on the lock screen every time the user wakes up his/her phone. Reminisce also allows photo sharing via text, email, and social media directly from the lock screen, making it easy to share old memories.

"We feel the smartphone lock screen is prime real estate that is currently underutilized," said Rêve Technologies CEO, Tamio Stehrenberger. "We look at our phones 50 to 100 times a day, most of us to a boring, stagnant lock screen. We wanted to spice it up by allowing users to rediscover their old photos one phone wake up at a time. We want to change the way people glance at their phones."

In addition to building a fun, entertaining app, Rêve's mission with Reminisce is to help trigger brain activity and happy memories.

"Most of us take photos of events we want to someday remember, but we often take so many that we forget or neglect those memories." Stehrenberger continues, "Feedback during beta testing helped us discover that viewing these old photos triggers happy memories and feelings. Imagine being in a stressful situation, looking at your phone to see if you missed a call, and seeing a picture of your teenage daughter as a baby with spaghetti all over her face. Your mood and perspective change instantly."

Although Reminisce is only available on market-dominant Android phones, the Rêve team hopes Apple will soon allow access to the iPhone lock screen capabilities.
