RevMed Bolsters Patent Security With Engagement of Leading IP Law Firm

Company Engages Foley & Lardner LLP (

CHARLESTON, SC--(Marketwire - March 2, 2010) -  Revolutions Medical Corporation ("RevMed" or the "Company") (OTCBB: RMCP), producers of the RevVac safety syringe, RevColor, RevDisplay and Rev3D MRI Technology, today announced that it has significantly strengthened its intellectual property ("IP") protection by transferring its patent portfolio to Foley & Lardner LLP ("Foley"). Internationally renowned and represented, Foley's IP practice will provide RevMed with best-in-class patent defense and acquisition support. For the seventh consecutive year, Foley was ranked by IP Today as a Top 10 firm for number of patents issued and by IP Law & Business magazine as one of the top patent litigation firms in the nation. These rankings make Foley the only general practice firm to appear in the top 10 for both patent litigation and patent procurement.

RevMed will be represented by lead attorney Matt Lowrie, partner in the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice, Boston office.

"In Foley we have a powerful defense against infringement of our patents, both current and future. The strength of their reputation allows them to be very selective of their clients; that they have chosen to work with RevMed is a demonstration of the firm's confidence in both our technology and management team," stated RevMed CEO Ron Wheet. "Moreover, Matt Lowrie in particular is an exceptional fit for RevMed. He has already worked on our 4 MRI patent applications (filed in 2007), and his extensive experience in medical patent development and litigation will be invaluable in protecting and strengthening our IP position."
