The RFaxis RFX2402 RFeIC™ was selected for Ralink Technology's 3x3 MIMO USB dongle RT3573 and PCI-e router designs RF3883 due to its very compelling features: small size, competitive performance and attractive price. The RFX2402 comes with a complete set of RF front-end blocks needed for 802.11n Wi-Fi operations fully integrated onto a single silicon die that fits within a very compact 3x3mm QFN package. Even more compelling, the RFX2402 not only delivers competitive 11n performance using cost-effective silicon processes versus traditional GaAs processes, its on-die matching and filtering makes system integration extremely easy without having to craft inefficient external matching circuits.
