Richfield Reports Drilling Progress at Mouse Mountain Property

QUESNEL, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 10, 2007) - Richfield Ventures Corp. (TSX VENTURE:RVC) reports that it has completed the first seven holes and approximately 2,700 meters of a planned ten hole 5,000 meter Phase One drill program on its Mouse Mountain copper-gold property. The drill targets were defined by IP geophysical surveying, soil geochemical sampling and geological mapping. Richfield expects to complete the phase one program by December 21st, 2007.

Drilling has progressed well, with excellent core recovery that is expected to lead to reliable sampling and firm interpretations. Core logging and sampling is progressing well and proceeds apace with drilling. Sampling is expected to be completed and all samples shipped to Eco-Tech of Kamloops BC, by the end of December, 2007.

Mouse Mountain is an alkalic porphyry copper-gold target in the Quesnel Trough, only 12 km east of the fully-serviced town of Quesnel. It bears many similarities to, and is located less than 75 km north of the presently producing alkalic porphyry deposits at Mount Polley and QR. The technical information in this news release has been prepared in accordance with Canadian regulatory requirements as set out in National Instrument 43-101. It has been reviewed by the Company's qualified person, Charles Greig, M.Sc. P.Geo. as have the procedures for sampling, sample storage, and shipping. In addition, a quality assurance/quality control program is in place for the Mouse Mountain sampling, with the insertion of blank samples in the field, and standards in the laboratory.
