Richman Animal Clinic Now Online: Veterinary Hospital in Richmond Heights Starts New Website

RICHMOND HEIGHTS, OH--(Marketwire - May 4, 2011) - Richman Animal Clinic, a veterinary hospital that serves the Euclid, Highland Heights, Lake County, Richmond Heights, Lyndurst, Gates Mills and Beachwood areas, has announced a newly redesigned website, The website has been newly created for the purpose of better acquainting pet owners with the range of services offered at the animal clinic. In addition to listing the services available at the clinic, the website has various tools and resources for pet owners.

The new website features a comprehensive list of the services available at the clinic, which includes pet dentistry, diagnostic exams, ear cropping, vaccinations, wellness exams, surgery, geriatric pet health screens, x-rays, microchipping with "Home Again" microchips, and regenerative stem cell therapy. The new website seeks to show pet owners in the local communities that they can meet virtually any pet care needs at the Richman Animal Clinic.

Dogs owners can select the "Dog Care Info" tab at the top of the page to get information on dog training, behavioral issues, canine eye, ear and dental care, vaccinations, and surgeries such as spaying or neutering. Cat owners can select the "Cat Care Info" tab to get information on administering medicine to cats, cat behavior, and eye, ear and dental care for cats.

The "Laser Therapy" tab on the website can be selected to load information about non-invasive laser treatments, and the quick recovery time from this type of treatment. Richman Animal Clinic is the only veterinarian in the Euclid, Highland Heights, Lake County, Richmond Heights, Gates Mills and Beachwood areas to have a Class IV laser therapy system. This high tech laser system allows the Richman Animal Clinic to resolve issues such as severe pain, severe inflammation, and superficial lesions in pets in considerably less time than older laser systems would allow for. Ultimately, the pet will have to wear a plastic cone or neck brace for less time since healing process is faster.

The Richman Animal Clinic website features "VetVid" videos, accessible 24 hours a day, which discuss some common pet health issues. The site launched with a video explanation of canine influenza from "Dr. Mike," who talks about the origins of canine influenza, the signs of canine influenza, and what to watch for. The VetVid also explains the vaccine for canine influenza and how it can be used to potentially avoid this disease.

The website features a "Pet Selector" for potential pet parents who are unsure about which type of pet is the right choice for their lifestyle. The Pet Selector leads users through a series of questions to help users find a good pet match for their family.

Dr. Jeffery Richman stated, "the newly redesigned website is another resource for us to reach out to pet owners and offer information articles and tips on keeping pets health and happy." The website also has an online store with flea and heartworm prevention products for sale. The Richman Animal Clinic website will serve as a complement to the current practice, which will be extending clinic hours soon, and the practice encourages pet owners to access information from both the clinic itself and the website.
