Rick Castro Joins NWP Services Corporation as Managing Director, ISO / Lean Six Sigma Quality Programs

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - November 10, 2010) - NWP Services Corporation (NWP), a leading provider of financial transaction processing solutions for the multifamily housing industry, today announced that Rick Castro has joined the company as Managing Director of its ISO and Lean Six Sigma Programs, reporting to Vaughn Chase, vice president of Operations.

In his new role, Mr. Castro will direct NWP's current and future programs for quality. In this capacity he will assess current quality measurement metrics and recommend enhanced measures, actively engage with NWP's customers to become the 'voice of the customer' and identify process methodologies that lead to even greater quality results. He will also educate NWP associates on the adoption and implementation of quality processes that will ensure the company is a leader in both ISO and Lean Six-sigma standards.

Mr. Castro is an experienced executive with 15 years of success in directing corporate wide quality, customer initiatives, ISO quality management and services innovation. Mr. Castro has served as Corporate Quality Director for Sun Microsystems, Inc., now Oracle, and while there established a corporate analytics, risk and reliability office, increased the organization's technical capabilities using analytics and initiated their Six Sigma program.
