ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - Apr 14, 2011) - Requirements.net, the industry's largest consortium for the promotion and advancement of Business Analysis, today announced the winners of the 2011 Requirements Lifecycle Award. Rick Toothill, Manager and Kathleen O'Brien, Lead Business Analyst, both of Merck, a global healthcare leader, were honored with the award for their ongoing work in advancing the Business Analysis discipline within their organization.

In their ongoing efforts to improve their requirements and application development process, Merck has also adopted modern technology solutions including HP Application Lifecycle Management for Requirements and Quality Management, and Blueprint Requirements Center for requirements definition and management.

"With the Analysis Skills Center, Rick and Kathleen have made a remarkable contribution to the field of business analysis," said Matthew Morgan, spokesperson for Requirements.net. "Their commitment and dedication is an example of how any organization, by developing a community of practice, can dramatically improve requirements development and thereby produce higher quality software, on time, and on budget."
