The Parkville location will be the first mobility dealer in America where people with disabilities can see the BraunAbility Explorer MXV Wheelchair Accessible SUV, Mobility SVM SUV Suburban and Allegiant Mobility Honda Pilot.

Parkville Grand Opening April 18th

Saturday, April 18, Ride-Away Parkville be demonstrating the BraunAbility MXV™ Ford Explorer MXV Wheelchair SUV (, featuring a never-before-seen door operation, an innovative in-floor ramp and removable seating. This is the first time the BraunAbility MXV™ will be made available to the public and Ride-Away will be taking deposits for customers interested in being the first to own the vehicle when they arrive this summer. The Parkville, Maryland location will also have the new Mobility SVM Suburban with seating for up to 8 as well as the Allegiant Mobility Honda Pilot. Also on display will be working demos of Bruno, Harmar, and Pride vehicle lifts and lift chairs. Customers will have access to special Grand Opening pricing and Ride-Away Mobility Consultants will be on hand to answer customer questions. Starbucks gift cards, a 48" HDTV, $500 Gas Cards for people purchasing vehicles and other prizes will be given out to attendees. Coinciding with the Parkville Grand Opening is an Open House at the neighboring Ride-Away store in Beltsville, Maryland ( which will have the same giveaways for attendees. Parkville Professionals Day April 17th

The previous day, Friday, April 17th, Ride-Away will host an open house for professionals including occupational therapists, physical therapists and caregivers who benefit by providing wheelchair accessible transportation options. Any professional who can benefit from learning about the latest in wheelchair accessible transportation are invited to attend. Mobility Consultants will provide vehicle demonstrations, show proper wheelchair restraint techniques and answer questions about new vehicular options available.
