Ring of Fire Resources Inc. Reports Additional Historic Results From Lucas Township Primary Gold Target, Project 81

Interview With Ring of Fire CEO Posted on Company's Website/Home Page

TORONTO--(Marketwire - Dec 5, 2011) - Ring of Fire Resources Inc. (the "Company" or "ROF") (TSX VENTURE: ROF) (FRANKFURT: RG5) (PINKSHEETS: HWKPF) is pleased to report on additional recently uncovered historic diamond drill results from 30 mineralized diamond drill holes (12 holes have been previously announced) drilled on its Project 81 Lucas Township Primary Gold Target recently acquired from AbiBow Canada Inc (now Resolute Forest Products) in the Timmins area of Northern Ontario.

The Lucas Township gold claims were the subject of exploration programs in the early 1960s, 70s and 80s by Canico Inc, MacIntyre-Porcupine Mines Limited, Terra Nova Exploration Ltd. and Abitibi-Price Inc. that included diamond drilling that intersected gold mineralized intercepts (see below). There has been no significant mineral exploration work done in the project area since the 1980s. While the selected results reported were carried out by these reputable senior exploration companies, all results are historic and non NI 43-101 compliant.
