Community Relations at RCZ

Rio Cristal Zinc recognizes and respects the local communities where it operates as important stakeholders and strives to work with them to create sustainable development opportunities. The Company currently has two important community projects underway: the "Palitos" project to provide sustainable employment for up to 200 women who will knit products for export, and initiated plans for a reforestation project to replace trees over a deforested area of approximately 8,000 hectares.
