RIS News Appoints Adam Blair as Executive Editor

Editorial Veteran Joins Leading Publication for Retail Executives to Head Online, Custom Media Operations

RANDOLPH, NJ--(Marketwire - August 31, 2010) -  RIS News, a retail and technology media business, announced today the appointment of Adam Blair to the position of Executive Editor. Blair will report to Group Editor-in-Chief Joe Skorupa and Publisher Dave Weinand.

Blair will be responsible for managing RIS News' editorial Web operations and custom editorial projects, and will play a key role in the development of content for RIS News' print and event operations.

Blair held senior editorial positions at Executive Technology, Supermarket News, Optometry Today and 20/20 prior to building a solid career as an editorial freelancer. For the past five years, he has been the principal go-to editor assigned to major custom and special projects involving all Edgell Communications technology media, which includes RIS News, Consumer Goods Technology, Apparel magazine, Hospitality Technology and Vertical Systems Reseller magazine.
