The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island Hosts Fifth Annual Red, White and Deep Blue for Independence Day Weekend

AMELIA ISLAND, FL--(Marketwired - Jun 11, 2015) - The deep blue of the Atlantic Ocean and the pristine dune-lined beaches create the perfect backdrop for the Fifth Annual Red, White and The Deep Blue Celebration at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. The festive evening starts on the hotel's oceanfront lawn with games, children activities, live music by The Bama Gamblers, a Southern-rock band, and demonstrations by Venetian glassblower, Kyle Carni. He will be creating sea animals from his Under the Sea display on exhibit throughout the hotel from June 29 to July 21, 2015.

Chefs will be manning grills and smokers to prepare an authentic Southern-style cookout buffet with summertime favorites including marinated bistro steak churrasco, local fish, shrimp, whiskey barbeque chicken, pork belly wrapped pork loins with a smoked jalapeño relish and a burger & bratwurst bar. Complementing the meats and fish are chilled seafood, salads, sides and delectable array of desserts. The party moves into the spectacular, newly refreshed Ritz-Carlton Ballroom fully decorated in All American décor. This Amelia Island event also includes front row seats to the annual oceanfront fireworks show which begins at 9:15 p.m.
