With over 10 years of industry experience, Chef Lasure has acquired extensive knowledge and skills to competently lead the culinary team and further contribute to the success of the hotel's restaurants on River Street Savannah, GA. Chef Lasure has been a part of the Savannah Marriott Riverfront's culinary team since November 2000, where she served as a Banquet Chef until March 2005. From March 2005 to November 2012, she served as Executive Sous Chef for the Savannah Marriott Riverfront Hotel.
In her new role, Chef Lasure will be in charge of the overall operation and administration of the culinary team at this full-service Savannah hotel. Under the direction of the new Chef, this Savannah hotel's restaurants will continue offering its delicious contemporary menu of American fare while refining the services and quality of the food. Now that it is my job, I find that I get as much enjoyment feeding 500 people in a ballroom as I do from feeding 10 people in my home. There is a great deal of satisfaction in getting up every day and going to a job where I get to do something that I love, but the best part of my day is talking to the guests after they've eaten and hearing 'the food was wonderful.'"
