Riverbed Senior Executive Named 2011 Channel Chief by Everything Channel's CRN

Randy Schirman Honored for Delivering Innovative Programs for Riverbed Channel Partners

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - March 7, 2011) - Riverbed Technology (NASDAQ: RVBD), the IT performance company, today announced that Randy Schirman, vice president of worldwide channel sales, has been named a 2011 Channel Chief by Everything Channel's CRN magazine. Channel Chiefs are leaders in creating effective channel programs for solution providers by consistently defending, promoting and executing effective channel partner programs and strategies.

In leading the global channel sales strategy at Riverbed®, Schirman was awarded Channel Chief for his role in expanding Riverbed routes to market with the addition of service provider and systems integrator programs.
