Riverhouse Spring Launch Exceeds Projected Bookings

HADDAM, CT -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 27, 2007 -- The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station has announced that confirmed bookings for the new facility's 2007 through 2008 wedding receptions and corporate events have continued to rise beyond expectations -- some 60 major events already exceeding the initial sales forecasts by 50 percent -- with a large volume of new inquiries coming in daily. The nearly completed 20,000-square-foot reception center, situated on a secluded ridge atop the banks of the Connecticut River in Haddam, will be prepared to host our first scheduled event in May of this year.

Trevor E. Furrer, The Riverhouse organization's managing partner, said, "We're excited about the response we're receiving, and we've been actively building and training our Executive Management Team under the leadership of our General Manager Jim Bucko. Announcements are imminent regarding the hiring of our Executive Chef, Banquet Manager and Sales & Event Coordinator." Bucko added, "Even with the large number of advance bookings, we still have many prime weekend dates available for wedding receptions, and we're actively scheduling weekday business meetings and other special events, every one of which will be custom-planned to meet the most demanding corporate needs for special seating, lighting, high-tech audio-visual services and all-encompassing food and beverage choices. We've spent the past full year doing our homework to be certain that every one of our business clients hosts an event they can be proud of. We promise the most cordial attitude, latitude and longitude in Connecticut."

A visual update of event particulars, from seating arrangements to gourmet menus to driving instructions -- can be viewed at www.theriverhouse.com. On-site visitors to the Bridge Road location are welcome to drop by the reception center office to view animated tours and speak with wedding, social and business event representatives. "We ask you to call in advance to set an appointment," said Bucko, "for a private, escorted walk-through. Meanwhile, our website covers every base."
