RiverRun Resources Appoints Chairman and Director

SAO PAULO, BRAZIL--(Marketwire - Nov. 13, 2008) - RiverRun Resources Inc. (PINK SHEETS:RRRO) announces that our Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Patrick Gorman to serve as the company's Chairman of the Board and Mr. Sami Arap Sobrinho as a Director.

Commenting on his appointment, RiverRun Chairman Pat Gorman stated, "I am very pleased to assist RiverRun with the development and implementation of its Gold Sands strategy. The Gold Sands district of Northeastern Peru, a vast area of some 630 square kilometers, is speculated to contain deposits of alluvial gold that has been transported by two rivers from the gold-rich Andean mountains of Peru and Ecuador. RiverRun has recently signed option agreements to acquire three strategic property packages in this exciting new region."

Patrick Gorman brings to RiverRun a wealth of experience steeped in the knowledge of precious metals and hard money assets. Mr. Gorman is also currently a director of Constitution Mining Corp (CMIN.OB) and the president of Resource Consultants, a precious metals, hard-money assets brokerage firm. For 18 years, Mr. Gorman has hosted the longest-running financial talk radio show in the Phoenix area, Hard Money Watch. And for the past 10 years, he has hosted an annual two-day investment seminar. He is also the author of the best-selling book, The Value of Honest Money as well as a monthly investment newsletter outlining precious metals strategies.

Sami Arap Sobrinho. Mr. Sobrinho earned a Bachelor of Laws degree from Catholic University School of Law in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1987 and a Master of Comparative Jurisprudence in International Business Transactions from the New York University School of Law in 1991. Also in 1991, Mr. Sobrinho earned a diploma from the Program of Instruction for Lawyers at Harvard School of Law. Mr. Sobrinho is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association and the Sao Paulo Lawyers Association. From April 2002 to September 2005, Mr. Sobrinho served as General Council for Brasil Telecom S.A. Between March 2007 and July 2008, Mr. Sobrinho served as Executive Director and Chief Legal Officer for Ferrous Resources Limited. Since 2006, Mr. Sobrinho has served as Founding Member and Partner of Arap & Nishi Attorneys at Law. Further, since July 2008 Mr. Sobrinho has served as Chief Executive Officer of Vtech Empreendimentos Minerais Ltda.

There are no family relationships between any of our directors or executive officers and none of our directors or executive officers have had any material direct or indirect interest in any of our transactions or proposed transactions over the last two years.
